    i’m just disappointed with the United States by not been interested in soccer in the country,i think why the U.S didn’t win the 2022 world cup cuz of its interest in soccer,so america needs to be interested in soccer,so beck messed it up,CHUPAN MIS HUEVOS(SUCK MY BALLS)

    I really don’t care if Glenn doesn’t like WC, I try not to listen to anything he says or I might go crazy. But what I don’t like is him saying the rest of the world is “shoving it down our throats”. As if NO Americans like soccer, we’re obviously forced to sit and watch it with a gun to our heads? People like soccer, its a great game, get over it Glenn.

    great britain invented the beautiful game called football (soccer). and it’s one truely popular sport from around the world!! its part of the world culture. you can’t deny that.

    I want to apologize for any misunderstanding, I do not respond to any comment
    I just respond in general to thousands who think the same way in one
    comment, many think the same way. Some words might have double meaning.
    I LIKE SOCCER(football) the same way I Iove AMERICAN FOOTBALL &
    BASKETBALL. But when you see Glenn Beck madly detesting and using
    his celebrity to influence others to hate it then I go mad too.
    It is just a sport, what is wrong with that pick the one you like
    that is it

    @Verdelufe there you go agin, it’s a great sport for women and children because there is very little contact and every can win by ending in a tie! i never wrote that it was a bad sport just why americans treat it like a second tier sport, you attacked me not the other way around.by the way, i think glenn beck is an idiot, most of his so called facts he gets wrong.we do kick ass in the areas of science,business and innovation we are the center of the universe! those are our true sports.

    Americans are jealous of the success of football around the world and think it is the other way around. Bascally marjorty of the world don’t give a crap about gridiron and that is something the americans hate so they try there hardest to knock football by calling it a gay game a non tactical game a boring game, its just pure jealously simple as that. look at the world cup, it hasn’t been the most exciting but you can see why football is a way of life for the world.

    Some people don’t like soccer, b/c they just don’t like soccer. And they associate sports like football as a real, tough, american sport. It’s a contact sport- it is tougher no matter how hard other sports are (baseball, soocer, basketball, etc.) they arent CONTACT, the guys arent as big, fast, maybe but you get the point. Becks completely allowed to dislike the sport and disassociate it with America. The rest of you are really acting like pricks bc the guy doesnt like soccer. But rugby=legit.

    The US team was good that last game. it was a shame they are out the world cup since it was my second team. I wanted to have a good final between US (this country I love and lived for a while) and Brazil. Well, maybe in 2014 in Brazil they will come up with a better team and couch. I´m hoping for it. now, about Glenn, F$@#i his statement. he´s not worth the A#$hole he get´s Fckd every day.

    I actually had respect for Glenn Beck before he started talking against soccer.

    The same thing happened when I was younger with Rush Limbaugh. He started talking about ‘soccer mom’s” and how soccer gave you more brain damage than American football. WTF is up with republicans (even thought Beck claims not to be…) dissing soccer? It’s a fucking sport, not a political platform.

    I will never listen to glenn beck again. Sorry, guy….you are an idiot. (ps I’m American)

    Third world sport? Most thirl world countries suck at soccer. The world cup was won primarily by European countries!!! Do you consider Germany England France and Italy as Third world countries??

    @fatbear711 How do I explain? I don´t. All the bizarre and wrong calls we watch, is nothing but a good reason to curse the referee´s mothers… LOL. That´s soccer. mistakes are made for both sides. And since I am not an authority to speak on the behalf of FIFA, I would say that there are so many different standards to suit better the cultures of the many different countries. But once they gather together, they will follow what the championship demands.

    Some americans do not like soccer because they
    think the U.S. team is not as good, people
    do not know but has improved a lot. U.S. sports
    are not so popular around the world, to get some
    attention some people just rejected it flattly.
    Americans will start loving  the game when
    the US team go to a final and win the World Cup.
